This Halewia couple’s session on the North Shore of Oahu was such a perfect, playful morning that felt like I was just hanging out with two long time friends! I’ve been dodging rainstorms all week on Oahu so we felt so lucky to have a nice little break in the rain this morning. It did start down-pouring on my drive home, so we truly got lucky with the most ideal weather.

I met up with Cally and Michael at one of my favorite locations for couple sessions or engagement photos. This spot on the North Shore of Oahu has a perfect combination of palm trees, proximity to the beach, and felt all to ourselves since it was an early morning.

Their fun-loving attitude made all the more playful shots so easy and helped the entire shoot feel so carefree and easy-going, exactly how a Hawaii vacation should feel. Cally and Michael have the kind of love for one another that you can feel while photographing them. It was truly such an ideal session for me since I adore getting to just hang out and capture couples hanging out with each other and having fun!
