Eli + Allison’s intimate wedding in Jamaica was truly one for the books. The Rockhouse Hotel in Negril, Jamaica is unlike any venue I’ve been to before with it’s dramatic volcanic cliffs, crystal clear teal blue waters, and hotel rooms perfectly placed cliffside overlooking the ocean. It’s one of those places that feels too pristine to be real –paired with Eli + Allison’s magnetic connection and a stunning boho wedding gown from The Bespoke Bride. The couple had visited The Rockhouse on a vacation together a few years prior and standing in the exact spot they had their reception dinner, Allison said she couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to get married. Fast forward a couple years and they made it happen!
I could not have been more honored to have been part of all the fun + festivities for the week leading up to their big day! One of my favorite parts of destination weddings is all of the time couples get to spend with their friends and families leading up to the day. It’s basically a chill vacation with all your favorite people, whether it’s a weekend or a full week like Eli + Allison chose to do, versus one night with everyone. We snorkeled, did a waterfall hike excursion, cliff jumped, laid on the beach, ate our body’s weight in jerk chicken + had rum floats with basically every meal. Everyone had the opportunity to stay at the hotel, so there also weren’t any travel logistic headaches for everyone to hang out each day.
Jamaica is a magical wedding destination and I cannot recommend The Rockhouse Hotel (shoutout to Lici the coordinator there!) more if you’re considering it for your intimate wedding venue.
